Scripps Coastal Meander Trail Opens
A key section of the Scripps Coastal Meander Trail, part of the California Coastal Trail that will eventually run the entire length of our state, opened today with a pathway and boardwalk traversing a steep coastal terrace overlooking Scripps Pier. Staff from HELIX’s Sacramento County office, located in the City of Folsom, planted oaks with their families and the American River Parkway Foundation during this weekend’s annual Creek Week event. The 23-mile Parkway runs along the American River throughout Sacramento County. The HELIX team planted 12 large oaks on Saturday
