A significant level of effort is needed to lessen the risk of wildfires to our communities, properly assess damage to natural and cultural resources following large fires, and restore habitat to healthy and native conditions. HELIX provides specialized and comprehensive environmental services to help clients identify and implement the appropriate response for long-term sustainability. We have served the community since 1991 and have in-depth experience with vegetation management and botanical, wildlife, and archaeological studies. ISA-CERTIFIED ARBORISTS
HELIX provides International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist services throughout California for public and private clients. Our arborist staff are also ecologists and regulatory experts with extensive experience in local, regional, state, and federal regulatory compliance, and we use this expertise to coordinate closely with our clients to avoid and minimize project impacts on arboricultural resources. To help project applicants and land managers protect tree resources and better manage the health of their trees, our arborists use high-precision Global Positioning System (GPS) units to map arboricultural resources, create Geographic Information System (GIS) based tree inventories, and develop comprehensive tree protection and mitigation plans for long-term care.
