HELIX serves as a subconsultant for the SDG&E on-call environmental services contract providing cultural resources and biological consulting services for projects involving pole replacement, operations and maintenance, transmission line planning and for programs including Strategic Undergrounding (SUG) and Direct Undergrounding (DUG), Electric System Hardening Overhead, Fire Risk Management Mitigation Initiative (FiRM), and many other individual projects throughout San Diego County. HELIX provides environmental compliance monitoring, biological and cultural resources surveys, archaeological subsurface testing, wetland delineations, protocol flora and fauna surveys, and habitat assessments. On the current MSA, HELIX has provided cultural resource management and biological services for 86 task orders.
