HELIX is currently preparing a CEQA Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) for the City of Angels Camp’s Sewer Line Collection System Improvements and Replacement Project in Calaveras County. The City intends to replace approximately 6,012 linear feet of deteriorating sewer line to allow the City’s wastewater treatment plant to operate at full capacity, thereby preventing wastewater spills into Angels Creek. To support the IS/MND, HELIX is preparing biological and cultural resources technical reports; addressing aquatic resources through a jurisdictional delineation, a streambed alteration agreement, and USACE 401 and 404 permits; and conducting an air quality and greenhouse gas emissions study.
