On October 2, at the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP) San Diego Chapter awards banquet, HELIX Environmental Planning was honored to receive recognition, along with the County of San Diego, of a meritorious outstanding environmental analysis document for the Campus Park West Environmental Impact Report.
HELIX is working closely with Balfour Beatty’s design-build team to ensure the success of the new Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility in Santee. Balfour Beatty completed the first phase of the $221.5 million detention center that includes 1,216 beds and 25 buildings for the intake and housing of women inmates. HELIX
HELIX acquired the Cultural Resource Management division of El Cajon-based firm, Affinis. Archaeologists Mr. Andrew Giletti and Ms. Kristina Davison, led by local cultural resources expert and Registered Professional Archaeologist, Ms. Mary Robbins-Wade, joined the HELIX team at their La Mesa headquarters location on September 2, 2014. As the
HELIX proudly accepted the Caltrans District 11 Small Business Council’s Prime Contractor Award on August 27, 2014. The award recognizes HELIX’s utilization of the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise, Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise for the 2013 calendar year.
