HELIX’s Construction Group, is seeking a highly motivated Habitat Restoration Technician with a strong work ethic to join our team in Rancho Cordova, California.

HELIX provides, habitat restoration, biological consulting, landscape architecture, cultural resource management, regulatory permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, CEQA/NEPA acoustics and noise control, air quality and greenhouse gas, and GIS services to both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities for the Habitat Restoration Technician include:
- Non-native species removal
- Mowing/weed whipping
- Herbicide application
- Plant installation
- Irrigation installation
- Travel for out of town projects as needed
The following is experience is required for the Habitat Restoration Technician:
- 1+ yrs. General Labor Experience or related experience
- 1+ yrs. Landscaping Experience or related experience
- Be safety minded
- Must have strong communication skills
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Work in a variety outdoor weather patterns
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Walk in a variety of uneven surfaces and slopes
- Knowledge of native plants and weed species a PLUS

Compensation
$16-18/hour, or dependent on experience. Excellent benefits package included.
