We are excited to announce the promotion of Catherine Silvester to Environmental Planning Group Manager for our Northern California region!
In this expanded role, Catherine now leads the environmental planning efforts and environmental planning teams in our Placer County (Roseville) and Sacramento County (Folsom) offices overseeing the planning phases for site development, natural resource management, and land use planning projects, including documentation and compliance pursuant to CEQA and NEPA. Catherine has extensive experience preparing Categorical Exclusions and Exemptions, Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Initial Studies working for a variety of clients across the region. She is skilled at managing projects with complex organizational structures involving multiple decision-making agencies, interdisciplinary resource teams, and multiple stakeholders. With an added background in biology and botany, which includes the preparation of biological technical studies, biological evaluations, natural environment studies, special-status plant survey reports, wetland/aquatic resource delineation reports, environmental constraints analysis, and permitting, she offers a unique and well-rounded environmental management approach.
