On May 13, 2017, HELIX’s very own Jasmine Bakker and Kelsey Anderson will come together with other women from the County of San Diego, Otay Water District, City of Chula Vista, the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge and others on a Habitat for Humanity affordable housing project in Barrio Logan. Aimed to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter, Women Build offers an empowering, unique, fun, and positive environment for women to give back, and learn construction skills. The Women4Nature team is currently raising funds to make this important community project possible. To contribute, visit Jasmine’s and Kelsey’s fundraising campaigns.
